Tilting tables are versatile. They are popularly used as components of conveyor lines to transition goods from a horizontal to a vertical position. Ergonomic workplace design is also a key purchasing criterion for our lift table with tilting function.
Application description of the tilting table
Our tilting table is specifically used to safely and efficiently tilt car bodies by 90 degrees. This allows electrical wiring to be laid quickly and easily. The car bodies are picked up using a specially developed tilting frame equipped with pivoting cantilever arms. The cantilever arms are designed to pivot because the car bodies are delivered via rail-bound transport carts that do not allow for frontal loading.

Safety features of the tilting table
To prevent the cantilever arms from colliding with the platform during manual unfolding, they are equipped with stops that limit the swivel motion to 90 degrees. The locking is done using pin bolts.
Additionally, a bracket on the upper holding mast of the tilting frame secures the car body during the tilting process to prevent slipping. This bracket is adjustable to safely accommodate different car body sizes.
In the event of a hose rupture or pipe break, an electrically unlockable check valve is attached to the cylinders. This valve retains the oil in the cylinder and prevents the scissor lift table from dropping uncontrollably.
