Why our work platform does not require railings
A distinctive feature of our specialized work platform is the absence of railings. This is due to the specific requirements of working on vehicle chassis, where only a maximum lifting range of 250 mm is needed. Railings are only required for fall heights of 500 mm or more. Therefore, railings can be omitted in this case.
Enhancing workplace safety with anti-slip coating
To improve the footing on the industrial work platform and minimize the risk of injuries due to slipping, the platform of our work platforms is equipped with a 20 mm high perimeter edge. This edge serves as a frame for a customer-supplied rubber matting, which significantly increases slip resistance.
Sheet metal apron as under-run protection
If the effective stroke is less than the construction height, a sheet metal apron consisting of a single segment can be provided as under-run protection in a pit installation. The sheet metal apron protects against crush injuries and is a cost-effective alternative to corrugated wire meshes or PVC roll-ups due to its design.
Terminal strip instead of control
If the control needs to be adjusted to the cycle times of the assembly line, wiring on a terminal strip is recommended. The advantage is the easy integration into the superior control system of the customer's facility.
Ease of maintenance through maintenance stroke
To ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the industrial work platforms, regular maintenance is essential. Since direct work beneath the platform is not possible due to the installation situation, the work platforms are equipped with a maintenance lift of 600 mm. This allows the platform to be raised high enough out of the pit to perform maintenance work safely and efficiently. The appropriate lift heights are set by lowering and lifting limit switches.
