The double scissor lift tables shown are used to safely transport roll containers between two levels. The system includes a total of 62 scissor lift platforms, spread across four different variants. The average batch size was 16 lift tables.
Special features of the double scissor lift tables
Operation, control system and drive
Each double scissor lift table is equipped with an external unit mounted on an oil drip tray with a back shield. This allows the control system to be mounted directly above the unit. The operation of the lift tables is controlled by two foot pedals that act as dead man's switches. This means that the lifting or lowering movement immediately stops as soon as the operator releases the foot pedal.
Centring aids on the platform
The platform of the lift tables has two recesses designed specifically to accommodate the wheels of the roll containers. These recesses prevent the roll containers from rolling away unintentionally during the lifting or lowering process. Additional stop angles next to the recesses ensure that the containers cannot be pushed too far onto the platform.
Safety equipment
The lift tables are equipped with all standard safety features, including a pressure relief valve and a foot protection safety strip. A special safety feature is the surrounding bellows, which serves as under-run protection. It prevents persons from entering the hazard area beneath the platform.
