Mounting heavy loads at great heights often poses a challenge, especially since conventional elevating work platforms are frequently not designed for the required load capacity. The solution: a symbiosis of a mobile lift table and an elevating work platform.
Use of the mobile lift table for ceiling installations
Our client installs ceiling heating systems and was looking for a way to mount heating radiators as comfortably and safely as possible at a height of nearly 6 meters.

The scissor lift table can raise loads to just below the ceiling, allowing the radiators to be installed directly.
Moreover, the lift table is characterized by its mobile design with a specially adapted chassis. Instead of the usual combination of steering and fixed casters, our model features four steering casters to enable optimal fine positioning. Additional spindle supports on the wheels relieve the casters and improve stability — a crucial factor given the tremendous height.
The installer himself uses an industrial work platform to access the radiators. He drives the work platform right next to the lift table and is lifted up until he can easily reach the mounting components.
Transportability and flexible features
Since the heating elements are installed throughout Germany, the lift table needs to be transportable. With the lifting lugs mounted on the sides of the wheels, the scissor lift platform can easily be lifted onto transport vehicles by crane and safely delivered to the site.
