What are mobile lift tables used for?
Mobile lift tables combine the lifting and transporting of loads. They can be used at different workstations and raise workpieces, components or other goods to the required working height.
Typical applications include assembly, production and internal material transport. Depending on the configuration, mobile lift tables can be moved manually or equipped with a travel drive.
How Is the Lifting Movement Performed?
Depending on the configuration, mobile lift tables can be raised and lowered manually or electrically. On manual versions, the lifting movement is operated using a hand or foot pump, for example. Electric versions can be equipped with a battery-powered or corded lifting drive.
The most suitable configuration depends on the requirements and operating conditions of the specific application.
Battery Power or Mains Connection?
With an electric lifting drive, the power supply can be provided by either a battery or a mains connection, depending on the configuration. Which option is most suitable depends primarily on the place of use and the required range of movement of the lift table.
Battery power is a good choice when a large range of movement is required and the lift table needs to be used flexibly at different workstations, for example.
A mains connection can be suitable when the range of movement is relatively limited and the lift table is mainly used at a fixed workstation.
Lift Table with Electric Travel Drive
The video shows a lift table with an electric travel drive. This allows the lift table to be moved to the required place of use without manual pushing. The platform can also be raised and lowered electrically.
What Mobile Base Options Are Available?
Depending on the application, mobile lift tables can be equipped with castors or a rail-mounted base. Both versions are available with or without a travel drive, depending on the requirements.
A mobile base with castors allows flexible use at different workstations. A rail-mounted base, on the other hand, is suitable for applications where the lift table needs to travel along a defined path.
The most suitable configuration depends on factors such as load capacity, place of use, floor conditions and the required range of movement.
