Use of tandem lift tables in the stamping plant of an automotive supplier

Our tandem lift tables are used in the stamping plant of an automotive supplier. A unique feature of these platforms is that they operate in a restricted area and are therefore allowed to function fully automatically. A sensor timing control ensures that the lift table is always in the correct position so that the sheet metal can be transferred from the stamping machine to the platform and vice versa.

Moreover, the two scissor lift tables are true team players: While one lift table is located at the entrance of the stamping line and is loaded with unprocessed sheets, the second lift table waits at the end of the stamping line for the finished sheet metal parts.

Special features

Static flow divider

Especially with the finished stamped components, asymmetrical loading cannot be ruled out. Therefore, we have integrated a static flow divider into the hydraulic system of the scissor lift platforms. This guarantees the absolute synchronization of the two scissor packages, even with off-center loads. Our mechanically operating flow divider functions without complex control and regulation technology.

Greasable bearings

Since both lift tables are operated within a fully automated system with high cycle rates, they are equipped with greaseable bearings. This ensures low bearing wear, even under high stress.

Potential-free contacts

The communication between our lift tables and the customer's stamping line is carried out via potential-free contacts. Our control system reports to the superior control system that the desired transfer position has been reached. Naturally, the lift table control also signals when the end position is reached, allowing a new sheet to be applied or the finished components to be removed.
