Who is Janzen Lifttechnik GmbH?

We are a lift table manufacturer located in the beautiful Emsland region of Lower Saxony, Germany, just about 15 kilometers from the Dutch border.

Our entire production takes place in Germany, starting from design through steel construction to final assembly and control system construction. Our high level of in-house manufacturing allows us to offer customized solutions that meet your individual customer requirements.
We take pride in being able to provide the suitable lift table for you.

High flexibility at low costs

As a manufacturing company, we face the following challenge in today's times: the demand for customized products is increasing while cost pressures are also on the rise. To meet this challenge, we place great emphasis on providing simple adaptation options to various requirements in our product development.
The use of standardized individual components and the uniform structure of product lines lead to cost reduction while improving quality:

  1. Faster through-put times
The reduction in the variety of individual components automatically increases production volumes. By eliminating time-consuming setups and similar tasks, we can manufacture more efficiently.
  2. Practice makes perfect
Each scissor lift table or column lift follows a fundamentally similar structure. This also means that certain work processes repeat in the production workflow. This allows us continuous optimization of processes, keeping both the error rate and through-put times low.

Our goal as a lift table manufacturer is to deliver high-quality products at competitive prices.

What types of lift tables do we produce?

As we are convinced of the advantages of hydraulic drives, we have focused on this drive concept (see also our article: ‘Hydraulic lift tables: pros & cons’). Therefore, our product range exclusively includes hydraulic lift tables. In addition to simple scissor lift tables, you will find the following types:

To get an overview of our offerings, we invite you to visit our product page
The variety of options we provide is evident on our reference page:
Each hydraulic lift table can be individually configured and delivered with dimensions, load capacities, and equipment that are optimal for you. We aim to provide you not only with a suitable but also a safe product.

When to buy directly from the lift table manufacturer?

Even as a lift table manufacturer, we understand that in certain cases, purchasing from a distributor can be sensible. For instance, we do not maintain a stock inventory, so a distributor might respond more quickly to your demand for standard lift tables.

However, if you require a customized scissor lift table tailored precisely to your preferences and requirements, direct contact with the lift table manufacturer is the best choice.

In our article ‘Lift tables directly from the manufacturer: pros & cons’, we delve more deeply into this topic.

Special functions through standard components

As you may have already noticed, our main focus is on customized lift tables and goods lifts. At the same time, we aim to provide optimal value for money. For this reason, we rely on a wide range of basic modules.

Our scissor lift tables can easily be equipped with features such as railings, conveyors, chassis, rotary platforms, fork lift pockets, and much more. You can find a comprehensive overview of common additional equipment on our page: ‘lift table accessories’.

Furthermore, special customizations are also possible, from unique platform geometries to individual control expansions. Thanks to our in-house mechanical and electrical design, we can manufacture flexibly.

An excerpt from our references

We prefer to let our products speak for themselves. Below, you'll find some projects that have been successfully realized in collaborative partnerships with our customers. Use these examples as inspiration for your own lifting device.
We are happy to advise you in detail on which equipment is suitable for your needs and how to get the most out of your lift table.

A massive work lift table

In reality, the stability of the work lift table shown in the photo becomes truly evident. While most scissor lift tables are designed for a payload of 2,000 kg, our customer opted for a load capacity of 9,000 kg, or 5,000 kg for off-center loading.

In addition to its robust construction, the lift table stands out for its clever extras. In each corner of the platform, there is a 230 V socket and an compressed air connection. Therefore, the operator doesn't need to search for a suitable connection for long but can find it directly under the respective flap.

For further details on this work lift table, please refer to our article: ‘Work lift table: massive & practical’.

If it gets a little longer …

Often, we recommend a single-scissor design to our customers. When the overall height is not crucial, this has the advantage that no flow divider is needed for the synchronization of the scissors.
However, beyond a certain ratio of platform length to usable lift height, the single-scissor design is no longer practical. The individual scissor would need to be so massive that using a static flow divider becomes more cost-effective.

The fact that we not only manufacture single scissor lift tables but also double scissor lift tables and tandem lift tables is evident when you take a look at our reference page. Don't worry about selecting the right lifting unit - we're happy to take care of that for you.

For more information about the tandem lift table shown, please visit our ‘Tandem lift table for sawing operations’ page.

When a tandem lift table is not sufficient …

Admittedly, a rather uncommon scenario. But what if the maximum width of the platform is restricted, while simultaneously requiring a relatively high load capacity?

Our customer found themselves facing precisely this challenge. A broader platform would have disrupted the workflow, necessitating a narrow configuration. At the same time, the combination of two lift tables should be able to handle a payload of 12,000 kg.
To meet both requirements, we opted for three horizontally arranged scissor packages each. Along with a clever system to ensure synchronization, this proved to be the optimal solution for our customer.

For further details, please refer to our article: 'Triple lift table – all good things come in threes.'

A scissor lift is not always the right solution …

Even though we take pride in manufacturing scissor lift tables, we must acknowledge that they may not be the optimal solution for every application. Particularly in situations where no or only a very shallow pit can be created, scissor lift tables often reach their limits.

For such cases, we have developed the hydraulic column lift. In a column lift, the lifting and guiding mechanism is located on the left and right sides of the actual lifting platform. This allows for extremely shallow pits with a depth of only 100 - 180 mm to be realized.
The adjacent photo illustrates a typical use case for our column lifts: serving as a goods lift. The hydraulic lift shown is used to store stage segments on a second level.

For more information about this lift, please visit our page ‘Column lift with true greatness’.

We lift more than just loads

The last lifting platform we'd like to introduce is a elevating work platform. In this case, it's not about lifting loads, but people.

Naturally, we prioritize a high level of safety for this type of scissor lift platforms. Electric check valves and guardrails are standard features. Additionally, they always come equipped with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) beyond a certain lifting height, ensuring the platform can be lowered even in the event of a power outage.

If you'd like to learn more about elevating work platforms in general, you can find additional information on our elevating work platform page. For specific details about the featured platform, we recommend checking out our article ‘Stationary elevating work platform for assembly work in industrial halls’.

Do you need an advice?

The possible uses of scissor lift tables are just as diverse as their equipment variants. On the one hand, this variety of variants is nice, on the other hand, it naturally makes it difficult to correctly select the right lifting table.
