What Equipment Is Important for Outdoor Use?

An outdoor goods lift must be permanently protected against weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, and corrosion. Depending on the installation location, wind loads and protection against unauthorized access must also be taken into account.

  • Protected electrical components: Electrical components are protected against moisture and dust for outdoor use.

  • Enclosed shaft structure: A concrete shaft or, for example, a structure with sandwich panels provides additional protection against weather conditions and unauthorized access.

RFID access control allows the operation of the goods lift to be restricted to authorised personnel. Access is granted via a transponder, whose authorisation is verified by the system.
