Especially for long, bulky materials that need to be sawed, a stable support is essential. It's even better if this support is height adjustable. This allows it to be optimally adjusted to the respective working height, making handling easier and providing additional safety.
Convenient feeding of work materials
For ergonomic work at the saw, a height-adjustable work lift table is ideal. Depending on the thickness of the material, the optimal working height can be set at the push of a button. Thanks to the welded square tubes on the platform, the scissor lift table can be easily loaded by crane or forklift. The square tubes have a center distance of approximately 500 to 600 mm. Static flow divider for synchronous operation of the scissors
When processing bar stock that needs to be sawed, a correspondingly long platform is necessary. A single scissor mechanism would be impractical for a length of 6 meters. Instead, the use of two parallel scissor mechanisms in the form of a tandem lift table is recommended.
To achieve synchronized movement of the scissors, we use a static flow divider. This ensures synchronous lifting and lowering of the scissor mechanisms, so the platform does not become uneven even with an uneven load distribution. This is particularly important in sawing operations, as the load is fed across the platform to the saw, and the hydraulic lift table is thus almost always loaded off-center.
Warning markings to identify hazardous areas
Hazardous areas must be clearly visible and permanently marked. Especially when handling long bar stock, there is a risk that the material may become jammed in the saw or fall off the platform. To alert employees to the potential danger zone, we have marked the edge of the platform with a yellow and black warning stripe. To increase durability, the warning marking was not applied as a sticker but painted on.
High-pressure filter for lift tables in a carpentry workshop
Depending on what is being sawed, a high-pressure filter for the lift table can be beneficial. Especially in the wood processing industry, there is a considerable amount of dust. To prevent the hydraulic oil from becoming sludge, a high-pressure fine dust filter can be installed in the pressure line of the unit. This protects the system and extends the lifespan of the hydraulic system.
