What is the goods lift used for?
Our goods lifts are specifically designed for transporting heavy loads. An example is the shown column lift, which safely transports paper bales between two levels. To prevent the paper bales from tipping over or falling into the elevator shaft during transport, the platform is equipped with a 2.80-meter high, three-sided railing.
For smooth operation, the hydraulic lift features two speeds. Just before reaching the stops, the freight elevator slows down to avoid harsh impacts against the end stops. Additional rubber buffers at the lower stop ensure a gentle settling of the platform.
The platform is elevated to facilitate easy loading with electric pallet trucks. This is possible because the simplified goods lift is designed as a column lift, thus eliminating the need for a pit.
Including installation and instruction
As can be seen in the pictures, the lower stop enclosure was made extra high up to the ceiling. This design required custom modifications due to ceiling projections necessitating special cut-outs. These adaptations can make installation challenging. Therefore, our client has asked us to handle the installation. For our experienced staff, a professional installation poses no problem.
Furthermore, subsequent instruction ensures safe operation of the goods lift. Users will be thoroughly informed about the operation, safety devices and potential risks.
